Spray drying heat treatment plays a great role in the fluidity of molybdenum powder

The physical properties and microstructure of the treated powders were tested and analyzed. The results showed that the spray driedDry Mo powder by high temperature above 1500 DEG after heat treatment, powder in organic binder is removed, the powder particles shrink, basically is nearly spherical, a weak connection between the spray dried particles, internal small particles obviously bonded powder grew up, good fluidity, high bulk density, suitable for thermal spray coating.
